Kate

My dream career began in pastry at a young age and eventually evolved into event planning & sales, catering, and operations management. Since 2008, I've worked in all facets of the industry, from small bakeries & restaurants to corporate hotels & major food retail. The opportunities and challenges I've experienced in the industry have taught me how every business operates across all levels.

Along the way, I earned my Bachelor's degree from Johnson & Wales University (Providence, RI) in Baking & Pastry Arts. My classical training under extremely talented and disciplined chefs molded me as a baker and a woman, confident in creating quality products under the highest of standards. As Executive Pastry Chef at Julep Southern Kitchen (Annapolis, MD), I was honored as the "Expert of the Month" by a local publication. Check out my November 2022 write-up!

Food and art are at the heart of my work. A lifelong passion combined with an unwavering "let's make it work" attitude allows me to transform challenges into opportunities, build lasting relationships, and continuously pursue my dreams.
